What: Having already done the Skingrip model with Huf, Converse gets set to drop the second installment of their 1HUND(RED) Artists series with Blends. Co-owners and creative minds behind the store, Tak Kato and Mike Toe, chose to work on the subtle One Star model, incorporating a dark upper with a contrasting white misdole. The shoe will be releasing on three consecutive nights within its three locations starting tomorrow (October 22, 2009) for a retail of $120 USD. As with all releases within this project, a percentage of the net wholesale price of the shoe will go to help fight AIDS in Africa, giving consumers an opportunity to become agents of change and offering a way to turn design into power.
